A car conversation

This is an actual conversation we had while driving.....and yes I said all this (to be fair I've been under a lot of stress lately.....but it's really how I feel lol)

Daniel: "Mommy why are they putting out Christmas decorations out now?"

Me: "Well because the stores want to make more money, so they figure that if they put stuff out now you will think you have to buy it now because it's important to buy stuff for Christmas.  But you know it's not about buying stuff, it's about Jesus, and God put his son on earth for us.  But most people just think about Santa and gifts and stores know this, so they put their Christmas stuff out so you will spend money, and then they will make money to buy their family stuff they don't need"

Daniel: "I know why Mommy.....they put Christams stuff out because it's almost Christmas"

Me: "Well yeah there is that too"
