...and it begins all over again

What a weekend!  We celebrated Matthew's some on Friday night with just the 4 of us.  I had planned to take the day off...but unfortunately there was just to much that needed to be done at work and I got stuck working straight until 2pm before I could finally take Matthew out to lunch.
Since he shares a birthday with my mom, and it is 2 days after my Father-in-law's birthday, we thought it would be nice to meet somewhere for lunch.  So we decided to head up to Frankenmuth to have a lunch with Grandma G and Papa.  Of course as we were planning this a week or so ago, we realized there was a "snowfest" going on at the same time.  So as expected it was crazy and crowded there.  But it was fun and worth the memory.  It just took forever to leave the town.  We didn't get home until later in the evening on Saturday.
So today after church we spend the afternoon trying to relax and catch up on all the things we didn't get done earlier in the week or during the day Saturday. It's always so much fun trying to cram everything in one afternoon.  I'm exhausted, there are coupons to be cut, toys to be sorted, floors to be cleaned,  laundry to be done....and I never finished organizing my closet I started a week ago....and here we are again Sunday night and not enough time to do it all.
I know whine......whine....whine.  But I feel like it has been this nuts since November.....well actually it HAS been this nuts since November....overtime at work, and skipped vacation time....plus just normal life stuff......well after a few months it gets to you.  I know I need to add more "balance" to my life.  But it's really just been one nasty project we have been working on that just seems to not have an end point....there is an end point.....but it just seems to never get here.

Guess I'm just saying I need a vacation......I know "everyone" feels like they need a vacation...but my point is I...ME...I...N-E-E-D a VACATION!

I'll gladly do laundry and organize the entire house during it too;-)

OK rant over now

Hey....isn't blogging so much better than facebook sometimes?
