Full House

This afternoon we had a small family party to celebrate both boys birthdays.  My mom came down Friday afternoon, and brought my niece to spend the night.  My sister came down as well, so we had a nice full house for Friday night.  This morning Chad took all 3 kids to L0wes to do a building workshop.  I stayed home and finished up the cake, which this time I managed not to drop on the floor.  My in-laws came over and we had a nice lunch, opened presents, and ate cake.

After some more playtime it was time for everyone to go.  At the moment it's earlier evening, but it's been a long but fun 24 hours.  We definitely need to have my niece over again.  She is the youngest of 3, and just loves leading our my two boys.  In turn they love being lead around by her.

My goal to have done by this weekend was to have all of our frames filled with pictures of family and friends.  Well before the move we packed a lot of pictures away and never got a chance to unpack.  Then we couldn't find where we packed them.  While we did do a small search, we did not make my deadline.  But last night Chad finally located what seems to be all of our printed pictures.  So over the next few weeks we will be doing lots of scanning and printing.  We are trying to get in the habit of actually printing out pictures instead of just storing it on the computer......and forgetting which computer/folder/hard drive we stored the "good": ones on.  I'm excited to finally get more of "us" in our house.  It takes us a while to figure out how we want to decorate and put our stamp on our home.   But I am so thankful to have a home to put a mark on it.
